Uses:  Heather has been used since ancient times for bladder issues, stomach problems, and for coughs and colds.  A strong tea is brewed and added to a tub of bath water, for easing of arthritis, gout, and rheumatism. As a Dye Plant it makes a yellow color.
Traditionally, heather symbolizes protection, luck, friendship, and healing.
